As I may have mentioned, Joan and I are planning to go to Russia in 2009. We're probably going to do a Volga River cruise. The one I like the best and is probably the most affordable stops at the Hermitage, but only for one day. I was thinking about how that kind of sucks and you can't possibly see the Hermitage in one day when it suddenly occurred to me: It's not about how much you see. It's about how much you can enjoy what you do see.
My mom, my aunt and I went to the Arboretum today. We saw flowers. I have no idea what kind of flowers they were but I enjoyed them very much. Later we had an amazing dinner at Afrah, a Middle Eastern restaurant in Richardson. I have no idea what I was eating, but it was all very good.
Namo amitabha Buddhaya, y'all.
This here's a religious establishment. Act respectable.

By the way, Afrah has the beginnings of a website here: http://www.afrah.com/homepage.aspx
It's clearly still under construction, but some of the menu is there. Hey, just take a chance, head up to Richardson, and tell them the two fat white chicks who are cat-sitting sent you.
